Do It Today

Hi All, today is 859 days since I quit being a slave to smoking. It started with day one....just like everyone else.

I urge anyone who wants to quit to start with day one and progress from there. Don’t put it off, don’t make excuses to do it later...do it today. People say there is never a good time to give up....I feel there is a good time to give up and it is NOW.

There is nothing to fear and so so much to gain. You will be so happy, healthy and have more money in your pocket. Anyone can do it, you just have to really want to break the cycle. Happy days to all

    Hey neighbor :)
Good to see again, and yes, it is so good to be free :)

Hi Robyn. It is so good to see those who keep going forward and who never look back. It is so great to finally be free. There is so much more to fear by continuing smoking than by taking the appropriate steps to quit. We quit after decades and are proof that anyone can. Cheers!

Hi Nuts, thank you for your kind words. This site connected me to Red67 and he was my inspiration...his no nonsense common sense resonated with me and made me realise how stupid it would be to ever smoke again. If we reach one person we have done a good thing. You are proof of that...look at you at 618 days....awesome! On day one I did not believe that this would be forever....I am so happy for everyone that have changed their lives for the better.
Hope life is kind to you...stay well and safe

Hi Scattypatty, the best tip I can give you is to remember you are choosing not to smoke. Do not feel deprived or fear the quit, embrace as this is should be a happy time, you have finally finished with this smelly, harmful and expensive addiction. Nothing to fear and everything to gain. Embrace the withdrawals as they are proof that you are winning.
Go girl...you can and will do this...it is your time
