(12) Today was easy!
Listen to what I am saying: “Going the entire day without smoking was easier than anything else I did today.” Now consider this . . . I am a 73 year-old man who smoked anywhere from a pack to three packs of cigarettes a day for 53 years of his life. I also happen to have celebrated 8 years of being nicotine free on July 12, 2020. If anyone had told me on July 11, 2012 that I would be able to kick my 53-year nicotine addiction, I would have laughed at him or her. Yet . . . here I am a recovering nicotine addict with over 8 years of nicotine-free living behind me.
My journey is recounted in the 11 previous entries I have made in this blog. My story is not fascinating but it is 100% truthful and does hold more than a few helpful bits and pieces of advice, which just might help you to kick your nicotine habit for good. Do yourself a favor and read the entries I made to this blog as “TheOldPhart”. You will learn why I quit, how I quit, and what helped me to stay nicotine-free for 8+ years so far!
You CAN do this folks. Let the knowledge I acquired during my journey help you. I promise . . . it will not cost you one penny and just might save you an actual fortune!
