I am not sure if I can

Posted in Getting started 15 Mar 2020

I am new here. I really like to quit, not just because of my money but most importantly, for my health.

I am not sure if I can do it, but I am trying.

I tried so many time before, so let's see if I am able to do it this time.

I want to smell good again and regain my energy.

God help me.

    Hi, Sam, and Welcome :)
Why start out so negative ? Don't ask if you can, or see if you can, just make up your mind to do it. What's the plan, and how long have you been smoking ? Let yourself really see the truth about being a stupid, slave to a cigarette, and you may find it easy to just NOT WANT one. Make them something you don't want, not something you can't have. You can only help yourself :)

self doubt is a crippling condition on its own Sam323. You have seen what it has done in the past, so this time it needs to be a clear resolution. When you will Quit? How you will quit? Why you will quit? What strategies will you adopt? When you have answered these questions honestly You might entertain the thoughts of How happy you will be doing this and Why.

Positive thinking is much more constructive. We have quit and so can you. Fear holds you back. There is not as much fear in quitting as in not really.....but we don't use fear tactics anymore than Allan Carr does. We look for the good changes that we deserve.....more money, better health, self esteem and the freedom of not being on a time table to feed the greedy relentless begger. Look forward to this opportunity and embrace the good. You CAN DO IT!
