Something I am doing is working.

I don't know what I am doing differently but I am still smoke free. I get up for a couple of hours most nights. I prayed about it every day. I was so determined not to smoke over sleep deprivation. I was putting myself to bed early each night. Then I would wake up in the middle of the night. I figured if I took up smoking because of lack of sleep I would never be able to stop. Lately I have slept through the night three times in two weeks. I am exercising gently twice a day. I think it is helping. Thanks for reading my post.

    I think perhaps the difference may be that you have finally "embraced" the journey and discovered that you really are happier overall as a non-smoker. You have been through alot and very determined over the years Penelopejane, Perhaps now that you have totally accepted and realize that you can be and live as you choose you will also be more at peace with yourself. It has been a constant battle for you, for a very long time. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that you stopped the torment and made the decisive decision to be free. You really only need to quit once.

    Keep up the great attitude and stay free Penelopejane. You have worked so hard for this new you, a better healthier and more active you. Your family must be so proud! I am.

    Hey PenolopeJane, so glad you are noticing the difference in your body, maybe the goal of a little exercises is putting the other demons to bed too. We work well when I our body runs parallel with our mind. Great news.

    You are doing so well PenelopeJane. I am sure your sleeping patterns will sort themselves out in time. Smoking causes all sorts of trouble, and it will take time to get back to normal. Hang in there and be very proud of your achievement so far. You are amazing 😗
