2 months

Hit another milestone today. 2 whole months!! Feeling very happy.
Nothing much changed since last update. Still have thoughts about smoking (about 4 or 5 a day) but pass after a few seconds. None have come close to making me relapse.
Still no Zyban, but doubt Ill use it now anyway since all "cravings" are mental rather than physical.
If youve just started then I urge you to keep going and keep fighting. I promise you that the life ahead is so worth the battle :-)

Well done PV. We have thousands of thoughts a day so a few left overs from our past are nothing especially when we just breathe and move our thoughts to something that is actually important. (or not)
How many cravings a day did we experience while we fed our addiction. We gave in to the urge and spend thousands of dollars to do so. What did the addiction give us in return but smelly clothes and hair, brittle nails, yellow fingers and bad breath. You would think that would be bad enough, but it also went on to rob us of our health and sense of self pride. It is great to know the truth of the nature of the beast and know that we can beat it.
I thought that it was great that you literally gave this journey a practice run to get used to driving (your job) without smoking. Your determination and constant optimism have paid off and you are now reaping the rewards. You are also an inspiration to others and so the chain goes on.....

That's great PV I am so glad you are happy with yourself, as Happiness said, once you understand the nature of the beast then you know you can beat it. Congratulations

Well done, you're smashing it! Keep at it. I'm on day 14 and feeling good, can't wait to be at the 2 month mark like you!
