150 days smoke free

Posted in Quit experiences 07 Aug 2019

Hi Everyone, at last 150 days smoke free, I couldn't wait for 200 days to tell you all. I have learned many things including being the first time on any forum.

I did come back refreshed from my holiday and got stuck right into my new voluntary position (devising a programme and managing people) It went OK but I had very little sleep the night before. I can vouch for the learning of meditation which I used throughout the night, so for those that are not sleeping well, this skill is invaluable.

The pluses I have noticed are; more confidence in my abilities, a feeling of freedom, a joy and acceptance of myself to name a few, I wish you all success on your own journey to freedom.

I am so glad you decided to share your wonderful milestone with us. It was good to know that your survived the holidays without incident this time around and that you seem comfortable in your new life as a non-smoker. Your one day at a time approach worked well for you and of course your positive attitude not only helped you but others you touched through your comments. Keep them coming as you write so well, and have so much experience and wisdom to share. I hope we see another story or two before day 200!
