we all need help at one time or another, no shame in that. It's when you don't ask that the problem lies. It does get easier believe me, just a little.

Ask Away Dontnico. I am sure that any question can be researched or found if you go through our stories here, but if you need help, you may have to be more specific. The forum is a great place for answers, but also just to let you know that you are not alone and that we understand having been there. Find answers, compassion , support and understanding. Learn tricks to cope, methods of staying motivated, but most of all learn about the mindset. Re teach the mind that cigarettes are something that we no longer want in our lives. Make up your mind that there is no debate. You KNOW that cigarettes have done nothing for you.

If anyone feels that they don't believe that 100% then the cravings will persist.

I couldn't agree more with the comments made to you. Share your ups and downs and your own needs will become clearer to you if you do.

Dontnico, Nicorette spray worked for me especially in the early days. Its not a magic bullet and other people have found they own methods of quitting. I wont lie, wasn't easy in the early days, however it does get easier with time. To answer you question simply, Nicorette spray and saying NO to the craving in my head demanding a cigarettes is how I survived the early days. Remember its an addiction that takes time to beat, if you aren't addicted why spend money on something that's bad for your health, finances and makes you a social outcast in places. Best of luck, you can beat the addiction, I have and I'm was addicted for nearly 50 years as have many others on this site.
