Thank You Geo for your words of wisdom, the very first thing that I learned when I joined this site is that we are here for each other. It was just a short time ago that waking up and discovering I didn’t have any cigarettes would send me running to the store, now I hardly think about cigarettes in the morning. To all that’s reading this post quitting is hard but not impossible, we got this.

Isn't it great to celebrate !!! I am glad we could inspire you to success so that you in turn can be the inspiration. Great job and never look back. There is no time limited or bell that goes off when you are there or almost there. Believe that once you make your mind up once and for all, with no regrets, you ARE there! Your have earned the status of a non-smoker. Enjoy it!

Happiness your advice have been priceless, and your journey to freedom is something that I have followed even before I joined. My goal is to live the rest of my life smoke free, and to help those who are starting out on this journey with advice that you can only receive by doing battle with this stubborn & deadly habit.

Well done! I am only into Day 2 and nearly went running to the store after lunch. Just reading others storries of their journey helped me to stay focus on my own and work on strategies.

Hi Battlewon. Wonder if you remember the agony of the first 5 minutes of making the decision to quit. Reaching day 60 is power to you. Bet you wouldn't like to re live those first few minutes of your quit journey. Think about those and you won't ever return to being a smoker. Enjoy each new day of freedom.

ICQ congratulations, you have already won the moment you choose not to run to the store to buy cigarettes. What I have learned is that you will never have peace from the crazing of this addiction until you put time & distance between you and the habit. I can’t wait to celebrate your 1 month milestone with you.

Lia you are so right, I remember the agony of being a slave to nicotine this is the reason why I try to never lose focus or be distracted from my goal of a life free from nicotine.
