I can't say it's been easy but it's been a lot easier than I thought it would be after getting through the first few weeks. Everybody's quit experience is different - mine has not been good but it is good not to be a slave to nicotine. Onward and upward. Stay strong folks. I'm never going back even if it doesn't get any better than this! Not a very upbeat post but hey we can't be up all the time!

Hi Nowanonsmoker, I agree, we're not up all the time in our journey to being non-smokers. I think its normal to have good and bad days.

But 150 days!! that's terrific!! Even more so because your quit experience has not been easy. To stay strong and not give in, you deserve a medal!!

You are allowed to be proud for getting to day 150.
I just wish I had reached day 150 twenty years ago.
Keep up the good work as anyone that gets that far and wants to stay quit can win. Good luck.

Congratulations NowaNon. Your 150 days is inspiring to me. I say this because each day for me at the moment seems to be clocking over so slowly, it's like pulling teeth. I am so keen to get to where you are!

Hi Nowa you have done so well buddy I am on 149 days today myself. You have been really inspirational to everyone here and you should be rightly proud of yourself and your achievment. Mickey I know exactly how your feeling buddy. Time is going slowly and some days I just seem cranky for no reason. But in context I am experiencing life smoke free for the first time and its all new to me. Id rather go up and down than just be another drone to the addiction that is smoking. Am in the process of moving soon the actually physical process of packing stuff combined with the mental process of packing up my addiction has been really therapeutic and provided much to ponder on. Big high fives to everyone. freakboy.
