    Well Tough as.

Sorry thought you were Done. lmao and the name is tough as, or did you drop an s ? Love the humour, and love your determination to quit. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post. I am glad you are in tune with the mindset theory, and we hope that it will help you and others as well. I would wish you luck, but quitting smoking has absolutely nothing to do with luck. If that is your goal, you will achieve it.

    Well hello Done.

Welcome to this terrific site for warm support, great advice and people who understand exactly what you are going through. You may be hard as nails, but you need to armour yourself from surprise attacks from the nicotine monster. Once you understand why you began smoking , how it affected your brain and hence made you see it as friend rather than foe, it is easier to reverse the effects. This is what we call the mindset which I believe makes quitting a whole lot easier . Using this and tools to avoid cravings, situations, etc together with group support is a whole lot more effective than sheer willpower.

You are here seeking support and /or advice and have definitely made a second great decision. This first of course was your decision to quit smoking. I am a 60 yr old who has been duped for 45 years, a pack a day and several thousand out of bank account. Copd knocking at my door so i finally said no more! I kinda quit by accident, but suddenly and cold turkey as i gather you did. The mindset has made my quit journey easier than most but i also believe it can be achievable by most. Why not read my posts and see if any bulb flashes?

So glad you are feeling good about your quit so far, but knowledge is power and you only want to ever have to quit once. Why not do it right and tie up all the ends once and for all? You can do this. We are all here to help you achieve your goal.
