38 days free and counting

Posted in Quit experiences 20 May 2012

i cant believe ive reached 38 days smoke free and counting..... ive smoked for 40 years and other than one pregnancy never really had a break, mum mum died 2 years ago from lung cancer, my father died many years ago of throat cancer, 5 of my great aunts died from cancers as well, bad history huh? but ive fooled myself with how one grandmother smoked a packet a day, went to sleep one night when she was 91 and just never woke up....smoking didnt harm her....i was a total idiot!

its been tough, but im doing it, and im the last person i would ever imagine being able to do it, so to use that old boring saying: if i can, anyone can, by the way i love reading everyone's story, its great :)
