30 days done

Posted in Quit experiences 08 Jun 2018

Hi All,

Today is 30 days smoke free for me. Still going strong and enjoying the freedom from smoking.

Not having to slip out to have one when we are out somewhere, not having them rule everyday of my life is so good. I get so much enjoyment from what I eat now because I can actually taste the food. Quitting is so great on so many levels....stick with it.... and reap the benefits.

Thanks for your support Webbquit, it does get easier the longer you are away from them. Mindset is really important, I have had an easy journey so far and it is all to do with my mindset. I notice you used the words quit attempt, change your mindset to totally never wanting another smoke ever, and you will not use that phrase ever again. This is not a quit attempt, this is your journey as a non smoker. Sounds silly, they are only words, but the words and phrasing that we use dictates how we are thinking........hope this helps you on your journey and makes each day easier for you.

    Go Robn !! :)
Yes, it is crazy, that we never realized just how much we let a cigarette run our life. Along with the money, and health issues, there is all the time we had to dedicate to them.. DUH :) All seems so stupid now :)
