26 days of pure freedom

Posted in Quit experiences 04 Jun 2018

A big big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Red. The advice he gives is so straight forward and simple......but so so true. Until I really got Reds message, and it took awhile lol, I did not realise how easy this journey could be. I have always been a smoker that is trying to quit. But now I am a non smoker and I don’t even think about the old days at all because I don’t ever want a smoke again. What Red says is true, it is only as tough as you make it. Let

the old you go and embrace being a non smoker who chooses to be a non smoker.

Yeah i've had comments too from red he helps alot and yeah it is only as tough as you make it, whatever way you choose to quit it is possible to give up and bring on a new and better life. For me i struggle when a real bad craving hits i'll deal with it by either sleeping abit more or using more than usual of my inhalator, just have to try to get through them. 26 days is good

    Hi Webbquit,
If you really really want to quit, make the smokes something you don’t want ever again, not something you can’t have.
It is that simple.....and once you have made up your mind that you truly don’t want them, you won’t crave them either.
Get your mindset right and your journey will be easy.

Wow, Robn,, really thank YOU !
I have been away from net all week, and just found this. It does my heart good, just to know that I may have passed on the light. It just came naturally to me, when I realized how stupid I had to be to keep smoking. I never thought of myself as being a slave to a cigarette. I suddenly hated it. Sure, there will be withdrawal, but craving, wanting, and missing, is only a thought away from freedom. If you notice, most talk as if this is something being done to them, and not something they are in control of. It really is just a matter of a positive view.. I no longer want to smoke.. I just wish there were some magical words, that would help more see how easy it can be to break free.. I have an idea. A true story.. Maybe it's time for another post :)
