Another milestone achieved...

Posted in Staying quit 31 May 2018

Today marks 3 years and one day quit for me. I have saved $23 695 from the ash tray. I enjoy all the good things about being smoke free. It has been such a long time on this journey. My "craving", named Margaret Thatcher has given up "visiting" me and trying to convince me to celebrate the success of achieving yet another milestone. I have no desire to inhale smoke. Nevertheless I he'd the warnings of successful quitters who have found themselves succumbing and winding up where they started years ago. Never want to go through those first few minutes, hours, days and months. I hope many more on this site can reap the benefits of being smoke free and also enjoy the support of fellow quitters on this site.

Hey Lia; Good to see you :)
Wow,, $23 695 !! That's crazy.. I figure they cost me about $ 30,000us, for all 45 years. I'm not even up to $ 1000, in over a year.. What would Australia do, for money, if everybody quit ? :) If a cigarette actually cost .10, the taxes they are bringing in is staggering !
