I was having an usually hard time yesterday while driving home from work. Came out of nowhere. I wanted a cigarette so badly. I reached into my lunch bag and grabbed my bag of carrots and chomped on those till I got home. For me, it oddly worked. Driving is when I smoked the most. Right up there with alcohol which, after this weekend I have to say goodbye to for awhile. It's too tempting to want to run a block down the road and pick up a pack to go with my wine. Still smoke free though. 17 days and counting one at a time.

    I assume 18 days now.. If, we are talking, cold turkey, your body is near nicotine free. About 21 days.. Now, all you have to do, is make up your mind, that you never WANT another smoke. It can be done. Just let go of any good thoughts about smoking. Realize that you were just a slave to a cigarette, and put it behind you.. Make smoking just a memory of a stupid thing you did, for too long.. No craving, or wanting, or looking back.. Trust me, it can work :) You can, set yourself FREE :)

    By the way, celery, grapefruit, cucumber, asparagus, broccoli, watermelon, lettuce, and leafy greens, all burn more calories, than they have. Don't wait till you are old, and ugly, like me, to quit.. :)
