Hello my name is shawntae Baskerville and I am so proud to say that I am 30 days away from being A year smoke free. I did it cold turkey and for me it was easy after 3 days like they say the health benefits are so great let alone I want to be alive for my kids

Hello Shawntae, 1 year is amazing I will be 3 months soon. Is it easier after 1 year?

Cool. I too will celebrate one year on Feb 16th, and also cold turkey. For me, it was 3+ weeks of miserable withdrawal, but then free, by the end of the month. I just made up my mind, I did not WANT another one :) It is all in your mind. Nicotine clears your system in about 21 days..

I'm now on week 5 of champix. No nausea or any physical side effects.... And I seem to be down to about 1-3 smokes a day... I can go without no problem physically but I feel like my problem is mental. I can remember my dreams a lot more lately and it seems like I get angry or depressed easier. But when I take the pills I'm usually really happy to the point of being manic for maybe an hour or so after.... I'm not sure what to do.... It seems to be helping me to smoke less. But I still can't seem to quit, even though the smokes give me no physical satisfaction, I still seem to want them... Any.advice would be appreciated

Only on day 2 and I would love one. I’m useing a nicorbate mist that lessens the craving. I figure I’m just trying to give up 1 at a time.
