66 Days and counting

Posted in Staying quit 21 Nov 2017

Hey all,

How we all doing?

So I'm 66 days smoke free today, it was a struggle to quit and stay quit for the first month but now its become a lot easier, I have been exercising regularly at the gym which helps take away frustration that smokes would usually take away!

I did have my slip up in the first month for grand final but have not touched a smoke since, (and I got super sick that night! I blame the smokes, had nothing to do with the tequila slammers, jaga bombs and half a carton of jacks ;) I blame the smokes!) hahaha

Its my birthday next week and I'm super pumped will be a big night and this time I think ill be fine not having a smoke, :)

My app says I should have saved $1009 in this time.. nope.. I have paid more to bills and completed my Christmas shopping which I wouldn't been able to do if I was still smoking.

I did ditch one addiction and pick up another.. Online shopping! I know sounds ridiculous right!? I realised I had a bit of a problem when I spent $54 on a candle.. a candle... I am a tight wad so that is a big spend for me.. Darn afterpay and zippay!!

But I haven't made a purchase in 2 weeks now as well, all going well!

How are the rest of you going? my last post was a month ago nice to hear some updates!

Great progress Butters. Keep focused on putting away the next week and month under your belt. It's amazing how time starts to fly by from about 4 months onward. :-)
