Good Morning all,

How are we all going? I haven't posted for awhile so I thought I would give you all a update. I am now 34 days smoke free. I am feeling awesome, I can breathe properly, I am smelling and tasting things so much more. Quitting smoking really worried me about putting on weight, because I put on 10kg last time!! But instead I have been working out and have lost 7cm! So I super happy about that!

I don't have any cravings for smokes anymore!

I stopped taking the champix in week four and didn't continue to get another script as it made me too sick. everyone thought I was going to pick the smokes back up because I didn't complete the champic but i haven't.

I feel so good within myself!

I'm not going to lie it was a bloody hard first few weeks but well and truly worth it!

From 25+ smokes a day for 10 years to none for 34 days.. I feel so healthy!! :)

34 smoke free days... that's a great achievement. Appears you and Ron are tracking along the same quit days and both in positive spirits. You most certainly should feel great within yourself and isn't it great the horrid gagging cough is gone. That's what I appreciated the most within the first 4 days... what a difference.
I was saved by using Champix too and while I think it's important to finish the program, I do know many people who successfully quit forever after only 2 or 4 weeks of taking it. Stay in charge of things and you'll be completely out the other side of it all before you know it.

Great Butters 34 Days smoke free. You will make them 34 years! Keep on going on the good path. I am just 3 days smoke free after 30 years non-stop bad habit! Good to have people like you around! You are saving lives.
