Its been just over 2 years since I last had a smoke after 29 years of smoking. There have been numerous temptations over that 2 years but I can honestly say I have not had one puff. I'm fitter than ive ever been in my life and will be around for my kids. I was once like a lot of people on this forum who are stuggling to quit but can say it gets easier. Good luck everyone.
Well it will be 12 months no smoking on the 28th October. I have started training for next year's Oxfam 100k. Saved over 4k and am off my blood pressure medication. It's not easy but we'll worth it. I encourage those who have failed in the past to keep trying to give up. It took me a number of times but I made it after 29 years of smoking.
