I have been a lot happier in the last couple of days made a new friend and not ashamed of inviting her over no stinky smelly house. No sneaking out the back. We talked for ages . I even got my next door neigbour over today he's a wiz in fixing my computer. 45 days no nicotine still have a few pangs but nothing I cant handle at the moment. Guilt free. Nicotine free. Debt free. It feels so good...
40 days as a non smoker, plenty of ups and downs on the way, but I seem to be doing it anyway. Happy Easter to you all
Hi everyone, I am 33 days as a non smoker. The last 3 days have not been easy as I needed to drop the night dose of Champix, I started cutting the night dose in half but eventually needed to drop it, because I was too tired with waking up about 3 times in the night. Strangely enough I had a dream on the first night of dropping the dose about a whole cigarette I could see it clearly. I cant remem...
I have been very busy organizing my Artwork for Exhibition plus socialising with family and more. Pleased to say 27 days smoke free. I know if I succumb to the nicotine habit just once it will keep me enslaved forever.
Feeling so good today, 19 days free of smoking, I am also up to page 34 on Book by Allan Carr, finding it very helpful, did my to-do list without any stress or tiredness, and back on exercises most days now instead of every other day. Self talking every day too, "nicotine is not my companion" thanks everyone hope all goes well with you.
Went to my GP and she was so so pleased, I am on week 5 of Champix and gave up during week 2-3.
14 days smoke free, Still finding it hard at times, but I think its because of lack of sleep. I might have to leave the night dose off she told me, and I am quite happy to try this, but will persevere for another 2 weeks on morning and night.
I didn't know what section to put this request in on this forum? I will be on 10 days without a cigarette but tomorrow is my Birthday and I usually go out with some family and friends. Bit of anxiety there, but I am looking forward to it also. Coming home and the let down of not celebrating with a cigarette is in my mind at the moment, so I need some ideas/help for tomorrow. Thanks
I have used Champix before, and it was the only product which helped me at least for 5 years. I only had a morning dose with no evening as I had nightmares. Now I use the double dose and take the evening dose earlier, I still have trouble sleeping and wake up very early, which makes me a little tired during the day. I don't know whether its the medication or lack of sleep. I am now on my usual bu...
First day without a packet of cigs near me. Yesterday I was quite sad in a way, plenty of self talk and a plan for breakfast which changed when I got up. Its early yet, but have changed the radio to relaxing and happy old fashioned music, and found myself singing (to my dog) she liked it! I hope my happy mood stays with me today.
I have used Champix before this was 5 years ago, This was the best product for me to use I am now on day 4 of the lower dose but I am not sure about the night dose. I don't think I used the night dose before but managed to stop for quite a long time. Has anyone got any ideas about the night dose of Champix on the 0.5 mg and the 1.0 mg
