Still ok at 36 days (i think). It's been pretty tough sometimes but those hardest moments are getting fewer throughout the day and seem to pass more quickly. The process of letting go is becoming easier, although i am really happy to be using patches as NRT at the moment.For me, this really helps as does the simple but excellent quitbuddy on my phone which I highly recommend.My partner ...
5 and a half days....pretty hard sometimes but i just try to take it one craving at a time and observe its arising and passing without holding on to it...i find it worsens if i let it. I must be stronger than this addiction and I must accept that the cravings are part of letting go. I also try to imagine myself in the future...happier and healthier and proud. Spending time reading and commenting ...
I have just begun this quitting thing and am excited and scared. It is brilliant to read these posts as an alternative, a much healthier one, to wasting my time with a poisonous stick of chemicals! Best of luck to everyone...I constantly think of how I will feel in one week, one month, one yaer and the rest of my life smoke free.
