Hi, I'm back for the fourth time.  I went to quit a few months ago but failed once again. I wasn't coming back here until I had quit and today it has been twelve days.  I had a big fight with hubby as usual over him not wanting me to smoke also for medical reasons.  I told him to let me have one last pack and give me three a day which he did. These three I would smoke a half of eac...

It kind of feels like a grieving process but not that deep. So I am half looking forward to tomorrow coz I don't know how I will go, just try my hardest one m...

I just shows how cigarettes can take over, I went on like this for an ...

Hi everyone, thank you all so much for your support, normally I would have had more smokes after my slip up but it's thanks to everyone's kind words that I am still off. Sometimes l feel I may have been more of a habit than addicted smoker, I smoked around 20 a day and having food eg in the car or on work breaks I seem to be ok, I don't get a lot of cravings but when I do I distract myself. I have a confession to make, today I had a smoke at a party, i enjoyed the first 2 puffs, got head spins and smoked the rest thinking I dont really like this, why did I have it. It was a slip up but in a way Im glad because I now know I cant enjoy them anymore if that makes sense. Now Im more determined to stay off. Hi everyone, thank you all for your support, it makes it so much easier to know I have so much help. Hi, we'll made it through day 3. I actually thought I've finished the dishes time to go out for a smoke and then realised I don't smoke anymore lol. Last night I ate dinner then an hour later ordered heaps of take away so I wouldn't smoke. I went shopping today for healthy food. I used to smoke about 20 a day so I am surprised only having about 6 cravings a day. Today I had water or distract...

Hi everyone, I didn't quit on July 1st, trying to get in the right mind set again, but I'll be back here soon. I worked out not smoking also saves you time, if you smoke 25 a day, it will take you three minutes or more to have one so that's 75minutes more you have to yourself work out how much time you spend smoking. Hi converse how are you going? Good to see you still here, we'll done.

Hi everyone, made it through day 3. Slept half the day which helped. I know the third day is not huge but it's a big deal to me as I could never get past two days. So feel like I may really quit this time. I remembered the quote from someone on here who said never never ever smoke again, this also helped, so thank you for that. Stay positive everyone.
