21 days today. No more cravings and smoking feels like a distant memory! I dreamt 2 days ago that I smoked a cigarette and was angry about it( in my dream). I was so happy and relieved when I woke up. Don't know why I had the dream in the first place cause I wasn't thinking about smoking! any hints???
12 days without cigarettes. Today I had the longest walk in years. 14,682 steps on pedometer. Most one stretch. It feels good, my breathing is certainly better but not quite yet. Looking forward for the one month smoke free.
today I had some administrative work t finalize downtown and I had some hours waiting. Usually I would smoke like 10 cigarettes during that waiting time, but today I only had a tiny itch for a cigarette that lasted few seconds, when somebody near me lit a cigarette. To be honest I didn't give it a second thought but I drank like 2 liters of water. This seems to help.
10 days so far.
9 days with no cigarettes. I have beed smoking for 40 years and this is my 3rd attempt. Tried medications, patches and other things to no avail. 9 days ago I just decided to stop. Few cravings only and now they are getting less and less. What helped me during the first week was going to bed early, very early as I used to smoke a lot in the evening.
