G'day All, well just about 5 weeks in and I think about 5 weeks worth of Champix left? Saved over $600 and have rewarded myself with a Pure Bred Ragdoll Cat and continue of Fox?
I think you must set rewards, whether it be 1 day or 1 month it helps!!
Thanks for all the supportive messages that have been left!
Well so far so good, I have had cravings but refuse to give in! It's strange with Champix some days I have different side effects? Saw my Doc on Friday and he explained away most of them and said each person is different.
i know the cravings will only last ten minutes at most and they are getting less, in particular at night when the second tablet has been taken? If they are real bad I just eat ...
This is my last day of smoking, been active all day it's 10.21pm and I have two smokes left, there will be my ritual tonight, wash up ashtray, throw out lighter and tomorrow wash all clothes to get the smell out and try to stay active again!
i know the cravings are like a heart beat, they go up and come back down, they only last 15-20minutes, I will beat them this time I know it!!
Well this is my 7th day on Champix, the stomach problems have settled and only feeling " Stoned" in the morning for about 1 hour? I think the magic is starting to happen? Went to lunch had two schmiddies ( between a schooner and a middy) and there was no craving to have a smoke even though there ws another smoker there!! Good on me? Am having mild mood swings, not with people but when doing somet...
Well this is day 4 on Champix, some side effects, sore stomach, very thirsty, dry mouth all the time and about 20 mins after taking it a feeling of being "stoned"? Lasts for about a hour. Will be interesting when I take the tablet tonight for the first time? Not gunna let these things stop me taking Champix or giving up!! Gotta get off these Bastards once and for all!!!
My health is suffering, I tried last year with another form of medication, but had stressful situations all at once, a easy excuse, I don't think my heart was in it, but my health even at 50 has declined quickly!!
I can't afford it anymore, over $150 a week, my reward is to keep Fox on as well as each week to treat myself to something special!
I will again wsh all ashtrays throw out all lighter...
