Hi everyone, Well I'm sorry to report that I have slipped up after 26 days of being smoke free. :( I just came in from outside after having a smoke. I absolutely don't want to take this disgusting habit up again, but for the last 3 days I have had some extra strong urges and unfortunately I finally gave in. Tomorrow's a new day. I want to rid this crap from my life.
End of week 2 by the end of today! It's been a challenge but it really does get easier. And although it's still early days I feel like I'll never smoke again. Stick to your quit everyone. We are in this together. xx
Hi guys! I have just finished having an hour and a half massage and facial. Something I have NEVER done in my life! This is something I would recommend as an activity to do in the early days/weeks of quitting (money saved from smoking anyway) as the aromas and the experience itself is so relaxing and rejuvinating. Worth every cent. Give it a go. :) WARNING: you will feel great afterwards so...
Welll, I've managed to get through my first 7 day week!! YAY! And I'll have to say that I'm feeling more positive and motivated than ever. I've started an eating and exercise regime too, just to try and stop the kilos going on. Thanks to this forum and everyone in it! And although it's still early days, I wouldn't have made it this far without you. :)
Buggar! After 5 days being quit I have been feeling like a smoke for the last half an hour!!!! I was working on the computer and it just hit me. I got up did some tidying up and the craving still didn't pass. I had put off having my Nicorette spray until just now because the urge got a bit overwhelming. Feeling a bit better, but still worried I may give in to a cigarette. Motivation levels have d...
Hi guys, On day 3 and all is going well :) still have constipation and need a few laxettes, :) but it's better than smoking and a reminder that I never want to go through these withdrawals again!
How are you all travelling? Have a fantastic smoke-free day!
Although I wasn't going too badly during the day for my first day of being quit, by the evening I was beginning to feel restless so I had a spray of Nicorette mouth spray left over from my last quit attempt.(not exactly going cold turkey but it's better than sticking crap in my mouth) I've also got a bit of constipation - hope that passes as quickly as it came! I'm sure this is becaus...
Hi everyone, I put out my last cigarette last night at 7.59pm and woke up this morning feeling pretty good. I really and truly want to be rid of those filthy things for ever. One day at a time. Wish me luck! :)
The time has come! By tonight I will have put out my last EVER cigarette and will then be a non-smoker. I've just about finished reading Allen Carr's book and am really looking forward to it. It has changed my whole perspective. I will never have to put another poopstick in my mouth again!! :)
Happy SMOKE FREE New Year everyone! May 2015 bring you joy, happiness, health and freedom from sickarettes. Not long now before my quit date arrives. Anxious but excited at the same time!
Wishing you all the best!
My plan is to make 2015 the best and healthiest year yet! I have been smoking for most of my life and have tried numerous times to quit. This time I'm going to do everything possible to quit for good.
Looking forward to being a non-smoker. :)
