Feeling happy that I’ve stopped using the patches. I certainly found them very helpful for the first 3 weeks. I am not implying they are bad/good. It’s all about what works for each of us personally. I’m just happy and feeling stronger each day. Positive energy to all.
Hi all. Anyone else using NRT patches?
Am writing how I am feeling 33 days smoke free. Sometimes a bit sick in the stomach, calm then anxious, tightness in my chest at times, forget what I’m doing (put the car keys in the fridge the other day) The anxiety seems to be worse in the mornings. I enjoy shopping for food much more now, and toothpaste! Day 3 of week 4. Drinking lots of water and cooking healthy food.
Water and meditation. Thanks for replies - Today has been a bit of a blah day. Headaches, feel like it’s early morning when it’s 5.30pm! Weird. Think I will take patch off tonight and get a good nights sleep, put it on early in the morning. Felt like I had gremlins in my head, I’m squashing them more each day. Hi all. I’m on day 10 of quit. I am using nrt patches. I’m doing ok apart from being really tired - anyone else experienced that? Any suggestions would be great.
I extinguished my last poison stick on the 15/3/2020. I started nrt patches on the 16/3 so I am now 1 week free. The first few days were a challenge. However each day is getting better. So far I am doing ok. I know it’s early, however I am enjoying learning more about myself and eating better. I look at it as an awakening experience rather than fear. One day at a time for me.
