Saterday the 8th of February, my beloved doggy Ashby had a heart attack and died right in front of me, and there was nothing i could do for him. The emotional pain was so intense, that i did not even think about having a cigarette, which i would have had in the past. This quit is for you my Baby. Rest in peace!
Day 36 and fog has finally lifted. This is the best i have felt since quitting. Hope for many, many more days like today, as yesterday, day 35, was just terrible, an almost 24 hour struggle and hardly any sleep. I am looking forward to days like today. I had 56 X 1mg Champix tablets left from a previous quit attempt(Both previous attempts lasted 4 months). So Nov 2013 i took one tablet a day, cut one cig a day till i reached 0 from 20, and started my quit on the 23rd of Dec 2014. For the first quit week, i used 1 Champix a day, thereafter, every second day, untill they where finished a week ago.
