Hey all. . . I recently heard that after 30 days of no smoking or NRT's (Cold turkey) the nicotine is out of your system completely. This would suggest that any cravings or temtations are now all based on the habit of smoking not the addiction. Concentrate on changing your habits and forget about the smoking all together as much as possible.
So. . . I am on dfay 3 now and i have to say i think my mindset is good and strong. The methods i am using seem to be working quite well.
I have gone cold turkey so no ciggies since the 7/4/15. What i am reminding myself when i do get a craving is that i have gone 2 days already without feeling like i am dependant on smokes.

So. . as part of my personal program for stopping smoking i have cut down to one coffee per day. This is first thing in the morning when i get to work. The rest of the day is herbal tea. This way i am flushing myself out which they say is good to do when stopping smoking (drink lots of water) and i make the tea when i have a craving and by the time i have the craving is gone.
I am 32 and have been smoking for the best part of 15 years. Thats HALF my lifetime so far. I think about over that 15 years the amount of money i have waisted and the damage i have done to my health along with that when i spark a smoke i realise i don't get any enjoyment out of it.
