Its been 72 days for me so far. Last night I dreamt that I smoked a whole packet of cigarettes. So I opted for the 3rd Champix prescription as I am still in a danger zone. Last Sunday I thought damn it I'm going to the shop to buy a packet of cigarettes so I jumped in the car and drove to the shop. I walked in and saw all the food and thought...mmmmm food...... Got home again with food and forgot...
Day 50 today and only 7 days to go till work is smoke free. I'm so glad that I started early so I can keep it together when everyone else is falling apart. I am enjoying the freedom but at the same time still miss smoking. Anyway just keeping my hands and mind busy and constantly telling myself "now I can breathe".

For the first time I have been a non smoker in 38 years. I am really struggling and have had to keep my mind and hands busy. Its only been 5 days and counting.
I was tired all the time and tired of struggling to get a full breathe.
I bought the patches but my supporter had to grab me and slap a patch on me to make me start. So I have stuck with it for five days.
The mornings are the hardest I ...
