Hi everyone. Day 51. Saved almost $2,000. Thats a lot of smoke. I am going to reward myself. I am buying a framed picture of Craig Lowndes and his V8 Supercar. Yay. Its great to be able to afford special things 😀🤠
Day 47. Really craving a smoke today. That nicotine monster is trying to get me. Some of you wonderful people on this forum said this would happen, so i was waiting for it. Get it over with and be proud i didnt give in, because i am not going to smoke ever again. It helps the nearest shop is over 100 klms away. Not worth the drive. It will not beat me. I will win. Take that Nicotine Monster. 😆🤠
Hi all. 44 days smoke free. Yay. Has anyone else gained weight. I have gone from 52 kls to 54. I am not eating more and i am exercising more. Getting belly fat. Read online it is normal and is my body recovering. Can take up to a year or more to get back to normal. Help. Dont want to get fat 😔😭
Hi every one. Its day 25 and no smokes. Day 5 with no patches. Getting off the patches was easier than i expected. Only a few minor cravings. Had a tic tac instead. Yay. Life is good 😃😀😊
Went out to the pub last night for a family get together. Was worrried how i would go because of smokers in family. It went well. Had lots of support from family and friends and those that did smoke smelt terrible. My advise at this stage is that you feel like a smoke, sniff a smoker. Yuk. LOL
Hi My nickname is Nuts because i was nuts to take up smoking. I have smoked for over 20 years and enjoyed it. But the time has come to quit. First i cut down to 5 a day , and then started using patches. Very determined. First day easy. Second day hard. Got a bit better after that. Today is day 7. Struggling a bit, but hanging in there. Have to keep busy. Hope tomorrow will be a bit better
