I am now coming up to 4 years. Wow never thought I would be the one writing this . I look back at the struggles and withdrawals and I still have not had a cig. I am NEVER going back there it is worth the withdrawal process it was so hard I don't want to be reliant on any drug ever again. I am FREE now and can do what ever I want when ever I want to do it. No worry about cig breath in a crowded ro...

    YOU ARE IN CHARGE

Was looking back so I can appreciate why I quit and how far I have come. Sometimes it is needed to look to the past for the achievements made to keep going forward, pat yourself on the back on the hard work to get you this far. I have not slipped I just need to say to myself and remind myself that it was a very hard and emotional ride I went through and look at my better self and say 'was that r...

It really works but don't kid yourself... I have now accomplished the place I was striving for. I can now smell cigs a mile off and now I can honestly say I HATE the smell. There was a time I loved the smell and wondered if that urge to have one would ever leave. Well just to let you know that *I hate the smell and butts.*I now close my car vent as the cig smoke from the world around me is yuk *...

Just a quick pop in to say that smoking is just a distant memory and doesn't play a part in my life at all. It has even encouraged others around me to give up and I haven't even said too. I just carried on with life and did things like riding a bike (Marathon and raised $$ for kids cancer) , swimming and the list goes on I would not have been able to attempt to do when I smoked, my actions have s...

    Dont give up on yourself

Wow its been 739days just over 2 years. I looked back over my stories and yes I definitely struggled and as much as people said it gets easier I really didn't believe them or part was hopeful. So all I will say is never give up on yourself. Don't give into your mind giving you every reason to have one, counter act with why you shouldn't. Sweat it out, scream in pillows, go for a walk if for any r...
