Just checking in as it’s important to keep doing so. Socialising at night with alcohol is really easy now to the point where I forget about smoking. The biggest help for me has just been time. At the start I would talk about it all the time and I think for me that was really important. The brain is a wonderful thing . Take care everyone and believe on yourselves x
Day 400 today…trust me it does get a lot easier ! I was at a party last week and I noticed how less anxious I was *not* smoking and less stressed! Usually in a new situation when I smoked I would have cigarettes before to calm me down and during and after . I still like to have mile stones . Firstly - thank you all for posting your stories! I love this site from far away in the UK! The thing I love that most about this site is being able to search past stories of others who were at my ‘days’ once. e.g. 200 days and then click on their name to see they are 2,3,4,5 years quit and that they don’t even think about cigs anymore.
