In my quit smoking survival kit i have:
1. Kava capsules or powder for quitting smoking side effects like irritability. They have helped alot at keeping me calm.
2. Fidget toy sutch as a stress ball or fidget spinner.
3. Symbolic friendly reminders, i have a coin to symbolize the mony i am saving and a feather to remind me of my freedom of addiction.
4. Cuticle Oil and a good lip balm. Just ...
i have made many quit attempts in my time. so many that i have lost count. i need to quit for my baby's health.
Wow, these cravings don't mess around. I mean an hour into cold turkey around about's and i am seriously battling.
i have found some relaxation music on youtube to try and ease them, however i already have cotton mouth lol.
i can do this lol, for myself and my baby. :D
Just got to remember this feeling will pass and battle it one craving at a time.

i managed to quit for a few weeks, and then i started again. i was stressed out and thought a cigarette would be the solution before i new it i was hooked again.
However now i have a reason to quit more than ever before. i am 11 and a half weeks pregnant.
i have put of quitting again too long, i was fooled by all these myths that the stress of trying to quit would cause a miscarriage, well actu...

My landlord sucks and now we have to move. I slipped up and had a few puffs of a cigarette :(
I am not giving up on giving up. I am just so disappointed with myself.
So my partner caught me shamefully digging through the bin for a cigarette. I am 2 days and 16 hours smoke free.
He emptied the bin and i withdrew to the bath to sulk in cravings.
A new patch and a couple of quick mist sprays in and i am feeling pretty silly for digging in the bin for smokes.
But hey, it just shows it really is an addiction.
I was adviced to snack on carrots and celery. However i am not a fan of these raw.
I have discovered raw capsicum.
The most delicious quitting snack ever!

The circulation in my feet and hands are returning. One moment i am over heating next i am freezing. I am on NRT and have read that the circulation is returning in them which warms them up.
Its annoying. Been taking my jacket off and putting back on every few minutes all day lol.
I have made many attemps to quit over the years. My longest streatch was 7 months. I plan this attemt to be a permanent one. With the support of my non smoking, cigarette hating partner. Lmao.
I have learnt many things that can help with givingup in my many attemps.
NRT (patches, quick mist, etc) have been the most effective quitting tool for me.
