Well, almost 1 year for me, 17 September will be one year since my last day as what i call a "Full time Smoker" (pack a day).
As a quick background - Sep 17th 2018 suffered an MI - The result of a 99% block of the LAD at age 41, told smoking was the probable cause due to the inflamation and plaque build up.

I am day 51 of not smoking but wanted to find out if it is normal to now be experienced quite frequent panic attacks? my anxiety levels seem to be hightened now. I think things were more under control as a smoker, can this be possible? it is only the last 2 weeks this has started to increase, elevated heart rate etc. hoping this all goes away before to much longer.
