Smoke free and going great. With the money I have saved I have been doing some retail therapy, haircut etc. Cigarettes might cross my mind 2-3 times a day but I get into the deep breathing mode and keep busy. I was at the shopping centre the other day and walking back to the car a person lit a smoke; normally I would take some big breaths to get a bit but now it really stinks!
Today has been the worst day so far , not really wanting a cigarette but in the back of mind all day. I have put it down to not feeling 100% in myself; a bit down in the dumps.
But I'm still here and still smoke free. Wondering if it gets better or worse now I'm over the 2 week hurdle???
Feeling good about myself but I know it is only early days. I really could have smoked the last 2 days because of stress but instead I did some deep breathing and started doing something to take my mind off it. I feel different this time than when I previously quit for 3 months; then all I could think about was smokes and how I wanted one but this time I'm not doing that.....strange or just a mor...
It's been 7 days since I had my last smoke and I'm very proud of myself. I was around some smokers the other day and I didn't get any cravings; I just thought how awful the cigarettes smelt.
I was a bit stressed yesterday and kept thinking of them but I just did some deep breathing and got through it. Now the 2nd week begins!!
Two days without a smoke and already my chest feels better, not as wheezy and my mouth tastes better. I don't know if this is possible after 2 days but my food and coffee tastes different too.
