I haven't been here for a while and was excited to see I have been a non smoker for 135 days. I can't believe I have lasted this long.....feeling good!!

I have not caved in or even craving a smoke but at night while watching tv I start to feel anxious; sort of jittery and I don't understand why. This has only started in the last 2-3 weeks. Wow... I haven't checked in for a while and it's been 61 days smoke free!!! Mind you this past couple of weeks have been very stressful as I'm not allowed to use my right hand due to the surgery. I'm not allowed to drive so feel like I am going crazy, my daughter has to help me shower as I'm not allowed to get it wet. Hi everyone, I thought I'd better pop in and update my status. I had the surgery on my right hand last Friday and it's really hard to get things done. I had trouble putting on the nicabate replacement patches as well as the tape to keep the patch on, so I gave up trying and so far so good. And thank god for the Endone.....that at least gives me some pain relief to do a few things around the house...

Wow and here I was thinking I was going great. Yesterday I had a phone call from the hospital to tell me my surgery will be next Friday. When I hung up without even thinking I reached for a smoke; just as well I didn''t have any here but when I realised what I had done I was so disappointed in myself. So, I am still smoke free and intend to stay that way!!
