Hello friends, today marks four months since I am smoke free. What a wonderful world I missed in the past 30 years while I was a smoker. I am free of nicotine and the dependency syndrome attached to it. Above all, I can hug my kids and anyone without feeling ashamed of my body smell. I walk three times a week, my new hobby, ten kilometers on average each time. I feel so much healthy and young aga...
I smoked for 28 years and tried to quit many times by many methods including patches, nicotine sprays, cold turkey. I never lasted longer than six weeks. Finally I decided to think about the 10-15 cigarettes i was having daily and pick out the four I most enjoyed. These were the three daily meals and a bedtime cigarette. I cut down to these four. In between I would have cravings of course but ...

So another milestone for me....19 months smoke free, and according to my save calculator thing, i have saved over 6k...although that figure should be higher at the price of cigs today.
Love the freedom I have and when I see smokers, I pity them and just so happy I'm not them anymore.
Goodluck to all of you on your quit journeys.
