Quitting cigarettes was a JOURNEY!

It was one that I did not plan for, nor wanted. I LOVED smoking. As I'm sure all of us have/did/do.

Newport 100's was my choice. Before i get to HOW/WHY/WHEN i quit i want to talk about how it all began.

Always think about rewarding yourself with the money your not spending on cigarettes. My last cigarette was the 21st of November , 2012. What a day !.37 years of lung busting finished . I’m 58 a few days ago , working hard , when I’m not working going to concerts , shows and tripping around . Just bought a new camper , fags paid for that or at least some of it . It is really nice to enjoy life an...
I am 60, smoked since I was 13 and am or was the heaviest smoker I knew. I successfully quit half a dozen times, it was staying quit that defeated me. I have a hubby and daughter who both smoke and I am weak, if they are laying around I am sorely tempted, but after being a 50+ a day smoker if I smoke one I no longer feel a failure and keep going.as you can see by my joining date of 2016 this is n...
40 days as a non smoker, plenty of ups and downs on the way, but I seem to be doing it anyway. Happy Easter to you all
I am nearly 5 weeks without a cigarette & I feel so much better. I have now got a little rescue dog & spend my $$ on her instead of cigs. Went to the shop last week to buy cigs & he said he no longer stocked my brand cause I hadn’t been in. Went to 2nd shop & same story. Decided to come home to Missy instead. Someone up there was looking after me. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👻👻👻👻👻👻
lots of fruit and Zooper doopers plus cut a straw in half and hold in fingers or chew it
so far I’m just half way through the month course and I’ve been completely nicotine free for 10 days. I tried champix in the past and suffered terriable side effects and still smoked. Desmoxan is amazing, Within days I went from smoking 50 a day to zero.
Stay appreciative of the effort Made to quite......I feel so much better about myself as a non-smoker. No more shame, inconvenience, cough, horrible smell, expense, anxiety about when I’ll be able to have the next cigarette, freedom from the slavery. I have thought, many many times, about how I’d like to have a cigarette, but then I say to myself -“no, you really don’t want to do that, because it...
To all those doubting their ability to quit and also those wining the battle, if I can do it cold turkey I hope you can too. 1399 days and counting. Just like this milestone, tomorrow will be another one. Felt exactly the same after day 1 and then day 2 etc. One foot after the other. Move forwards and hopefully not backwards. Such a good feeling to listen to one's inner positive thoughts and not ...
