I’m letting you know that I’m down to 4 again it has been hard for me the past few days but I no it’s not going to be easy at all. Can I ask who uses Quitline
Day 159 and still going strong. Holding out for when I make it 6 months. had 4 lapses during the 6 months. Determined to quit now. Had a problem with my sinuses along the way, getting better now. Best of luck everyone!
Tried champix last year, went 4 weeks cold Turkey no cigarettes so decided I could stop taking the champix aswell cold Turkey
Was the worst decision of my life, have had severe panic attacks and anxiety for the last 12 months. Had to be medicated for it to subside, now that I have recovered im going to try vaping to quit smoking, day one starts tomorrow, with me luck !
I have noted while browsing as a guest that a user called Happiness has had next to no nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Whilst this is fantastic for her, I would just like to point out that posting ad nauseum that 'it's 'all about mindset'' isn't really helpful and can even be harmful. This site has been my safe spot for so long. First time I seriously menaged to quit for couple of years was thanks to this place. Well, 5 months now and going strong. Love my music, helps a lot. The savings have been huge and i can never go back, i know this. Here's to six months coming up, doesn't time fly.
Well 16weeks now.. Getting easier, can find myself a little restless at times. Gotta keep busy, is a good thing. Notice the money savings. Feeling alot healthier, although gained weight.
After 20 years I have finally quit smoking. The cost and the dependence had finally got to me. I decided to go cold turkey and quit any triggers that could tempt me to get back on the band wagon (alcohol, coffee, ect)

One Year Today I gave up Smoking. I no longer cough every morning. My energy level is so much higher than when I did smoke. I hardly even think about smoking anymore.
