Stay positive. Always believe something wonderful is about to happen. Believe in yourself and stay positive. It will make staying smoke free so much easier.

Associate yourself to new place where your old habit reminds you, keep walking in new places/garden/mountains and breathe (deep breathe) after 1 month and observe what you missed when your able to breathe easily and deeply... :-)
Go for long walks, listen to music, multi vitamins, lots of water, exercise, get minties
Each time you smoke, you are:-
1. Literally burning a part of your hard earned money
2. Feeding dangerous chemicals to your body
3. Going away from lofe with each puff
4. increasing the risk of unhealthy death
i believe none of the above is warranted in a sane person's life
I quit 2 days ago with a patch. This isn’t the first time I have quit. My problem is staying quit. My past quits have been cold turkey, gum or patches. I know with me it is totally more of a mental addiction. I’ve joined this forum for support from other quitters and maybe helpful tips you can give and to give support to future quitters.
I was a smoker for 36 years it was starting to affect my health as I'm lung infections and not being able to breathe etc...I gave up 6 weeks ago and can't believe I don't even think about smokes anymore..occasionally I get what I think is a craving and on those times I use the nicorette inhaler, I honestly think that little device has helped me quit.
