Tip 1 - Podcast "The Hypnotist" - find a smoking episode and listen to it while going to sleep for the first week, each day pick a different one. Turn the volume low just above a whisper and let it play through the night, other episodes will follow but they are positive and confidence building. Hope it makes you feel great like it did me, and took the struggle out of trying to quit.

Hi All, we talk a lot on this site about mindset. When we decide to quit smoking....do you draw a line under that statement...or do you say I am going to try and quit? If you think I am going to try and quit...you are leaving the door open just a little....in case you fail. If you think this is it, I am not smoking anymore...it is more powerful and no room for failure. We really are how we think....

Hi guys, I’ve tried champix and I find it great except it gives me dreams all night so I woke up exhausted and it also breaks my skin out. I have literally cut a tablet in half to only have a smaller dose. It helps to make my skin less bad but still effects my sleep. Has anyone taken it at night instead and found that helps? Has anyone had the same experience?

So I think I had a personal breakthrough when it comes to managing those disgusting cravings that used to pop up every now and then. I have tried so many times to quit but failed every time.
This time I’m going to put 200% into it
Smoking 40+ a day and now on the NRT
I’m on day one today so yes I have a long way to go
My biggest setback is all the other smokers around me
I live and work with people smoking around me

its important to keep an online journal so you can always look inside and see how long you have quit, this gives you strength on a challenging day, it gives you a pat on the back and this will make you the ultimate winner!! Thanks God for this great community!!
My helpful thought that I have come up with in case I feel tempted today is: I prefer to breath instead of choking on phlegm.

Think about your reasons for quitting as this leads to motivation then be determined. 1. Literally burning a part of your hard earned money
2. Feeding dangerous chemicals to your body
3. Going away from lofe with each puff
