What I didn't realize when I quit smoking was how much time I was losing by smoking. Not just the time at the end of life but the time during my life. 1. Kava capsules or powder for quitting smoking side effects like irritability. They have helped alot at keeping me calm.
2. Fidget toy sutch as a stress ball or fidget spinner.

Day 1 and I can’t hold a thought for more than a few seconds, except the thought that I’d like a smoke! I remember when my dad quit years ago. He’d stare out the window with a glass of juice in his hand instead of a cig. I’m replacing each cig with a glass of water, focusing on how clean and refreshing it feels going down.

I'm on day 6 of my journey and am finding that I am constantly hungry. When I feel start to feel hungry I drink water, my water intake had tripled, but I'm not thirsty, I'm starving. Does this stop? Today is my first day of being smoke free. I am going well, been to see my doctor and got and filled a script for patches. I have been tempted to smoke, but when I feel the urge to I use NRT and deal with it in my thoughts, and re assess my goals and reasons for quitting. I know I can do this!!!!

Never quit quitting. This time I won. 4th time on champix but I was scared of not smoking or what it would be like without them. I started smoking at 11yo am now 42!
