I have a very hectic life very stressful which I would always head straight for a smoke and I don’t want to replace smokes with food.
I’m just wondering how people work through basically life’s challenges how they have worked through it especially in the first couple of days. Please I would love to hear from your experiences
Hi new quitters! Congrats are getting this far in your quit. I often see new quitters ask when it will get better. My pro opinion (and at 32 months I’m allowed to have one) is that things start to mentally improve on Day 8. Day one is fairly easy. Day two makes you wonder if you can do this. I didn't know what section to put this request in on this forum? I will be on 10 days without a cigarette but tomorrow is my Birthday and I usually go out with some family and friends. Bit of anxiety there, but I am looking forward to it also. Coming home and the let down of not celebrating with a cigarette is in my mind at the moment, so I need some ideas/help for tomorrow. Thanks
When I told myself that cigarettes were not friends it was easier to turn my back on them. Tip was given to me by Quitline person. I would get stressed then the internal dialogue was. No they won't help me they're hurting me and then I'd ring someone who'd care. Quit 12 years ago and won't go back I don't go back to bad friends Good luck choose an internal dialogue that works for you😀

Because I gave up giving...

The best tip, I can give to new comers, is to realize, this does not have to be a journey. You do not have to stay quit. It does not have to be a life long battle. You simply have to real...
