I am glad my test posted, so I will try again.
We have been brainwashed for years.
We are not weak willed. We were so determined to teach ourselves to smoke despite the foul taste and gagging. We were told it was bad , unhealthy, but not ADDICTIVE. And if that was mentioned, we were young and it tasted so "Yuck" that was hard to believe. We just wanted to present a new image and fit in wit...
I am testing here before writing and no post. Read the next entry called QUITTING SMOKING CAN BE EASY! REPEAT QUITTING SMOKING CAN BE EASY! We need to undo all the brainwashing. That is not to say that you may find it hard, but QUITTING SMOKING CAN BE EASY!
So its been 122 days since I went cold turkey. I can tell that the cravings are getting less frequent and my breathing is getting much better when going on a run, so that keeps me somewhat motivated to continue on down this path, but I cant help but wonder: am going to be stuck like this forever? Am I going to have to fight an urge to light one up every day? Does it ever go away?
I was craving them so much it was like a hallucinary experience for me to get at them again. My Mom got me some patches to really do the trick and make it all go away once I made my mind up: no more of it!

Hi everyone still on the non smoking train
I am still struggling with cravings.
Especially first thing in the morning.
The minute I open my eyes it's a feeling of o wait I don't smoke anymore and I fell a downer feeling happening and I don't like it.
Why this happens I do not no.
Yes I am happy that I no longer smoke but I think it's still fresh in the mind I no longer smoke.
It’s only been something like 60 days since I went cold turkey and had my last ciggie.
I had really tough moments in the beginning and almost relapsed, but I stayed strong.
I’ve realized it’s going to be a lifelong battle that I choose not to lose. I’ve made changes to my lifestyle that keeps me away from temptetation. Working out is the best lifestyle change I can think of.
I have s...
Hey there, so at the moment, I’m currently on day 19 of champix and for about a week now I’ve had nothing but constant vomiting. I know feeling nausea is common but just want to know whether vomiting every day is common?? Every bit of food I had that day, gets taken back out with ease and it’s starting to make me panic a bit. Anything I can do??
So far 8 days which is great. Lots of quitters seem to want to eat but I have the opposite effect I don’t feel like eating. Don’t get me wrong am eating my 3 meals because I have to. Yes have just got back into yoga and the gym. I have always been thin but would love to gain about 6 kilos. How many times have I heard “ just eat more”. Trying but I guess it will take time. It just goes to s...
At the beginning of December I said that quitting smoking was easier than losing weight.
To back this up, since I truly did find quitting smoking easy, once finding a site and believing that it was at least a realistic possibility. After all I am not special in any way, even if i would never have believed many things that have come to pass.
I did not believe I could quit smoking.....but h...
