hello my amazing fans, i am sure u all have missed me. i have been extremely busy, with quitting smoking and all.
recently, this dumb b*tch has been creating drama in my life. she is a strong 2/10 and the girls hair looks like hay. she is a compulsive liar and pretended to have dated multiple men as well as pretending that she was my friend (i have never spoken to this girl in my life).
I have come to my anniversary by giving up smoking. I did it by going cold turkey and still haven't taken back up again, it been over 3 yrs now.
So sorry to everyone that when I post a comment it comes up twice. Very frustrating for me also. It is doing it automatically and I don’t know how to fix it. Once again I am so sorry that you have to put up with it duplicating
Today is day 15 without a cigarette for me. What a ride so far!! A gal asked me for a smoke this morning, I don't smoke I replied, the buzz from that was better than any cigs ever gave me!!
Hi everyone, I am super new here and using all of your posts as my support network to help me through! Im day 8 now and haven't had a very easy day of it, the struggle is real. I've been reading Allen Carr and listening to podcasts to find my resolve, and trying to distract myself with work. I'm hoping it gets easier soon! Any tips gratefully appreciated!
Hi Everyone, After 50 days of quit smoking, blood circulations and digestions problems improved. I can feel better smell and taste, May Allah help everyone to get rid from this evil habit.
Please someone tell me the sleeplessness gets better !???
I am so exhausted but cannot get a proper sleep, day 15 🚭 for me today but have been sleepless since day 0
Any tips or time frames ? It’s making it so hard :(
Today is my 180th day and just a few days shy of 6 months! My throat problems still bug me a bit but not as much as before! Once I got a clear diagnosis of no cancer from my ENT I started to feel better although I still have swallowing problems. In these 180 days, I will have walked 1000km soon and apart from my throat problems and cough, I feel great! If I could quit and stay quit, anyone can! I...
Hi everyone, this is my umpteenth attempt at quitting. In my 47 years, I’ve been smoking for almost 35 years of those, and a heavy smoker for the last 20 years. Today I’m on Day 2, Cold Turkey. I’ve only had 2 big cravings today, which was a surprise in itself, as I stated I’m a heavy smoker. 1 I was able to distracted myself working in my backyard, but to 2nd craving I seriously considered going...
Just an update 119 days and counting. Smoke free
Just easier now once you have the right mindset.
I don't think of them as often now and don't have cravings as much.
I'm on the right track now.
Thanks for all support.
I'm working toward Xmas and been smoke free in the new year 🥂🥂
Have a lovely Sunday afternoon.
Out to the garden I go to listen to the birds and do some po...
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I found an old story with a link to a pdf file that I think would help many. The author takes key points from Allan Carr's book and makes note of them so you don't have to read the entire book. (although I recommend that you do!) Why suffer when you should be rejoicing the fact that you are beating the addiction to nicotine and hence the harmful effects of smoking
Hope everyone is doing good with this covid worry.
Still lots of peeps on here trying to quit so that's good .
Well 7 yrs to the date or 2556 days ago I to was here for the first time it wasn't easy but I knew I had to start my journey as you can read in my stories so I won't re post , I will say it's not easy at first but you just need to stay positive and be your own best frie...
Hello everyone. This is my first time to express here. Today it's my day 24 as a non-smoker and enjoying the freedom. It's really a great experience and would like to share with you all.
I started with Cold Turkey without deciding anything in advance. Cravings were huge for first week, causing me to slip for 3 times. In the same week when I quit smoking, I found this website and all of the s...
Good morning Everyone,I’ve been stopped smoking 2 months and my breathing and health has felt great, thismorning tho I’ve woke up weary and coughing,is it too late for it to be stopping smoking causing it do you think..if not I’m coming down with something

Today’s trip to the dentist felt a little different to me. As I got my cleaning I thought to myself.. my teeth are healing too! For years I’ve hated my teeth due to smoking, but NOW I’m embracing my new smile and look forward to fixing the damage the smoke has caused my teeth! 6 months free. Nope.
Hi Everyone. I am day 9 into taking Champix. Quut day is the 12th. Did anyone suffer from facial sweats, nausea and vomiting after having a smoke whilst taking higher dose tablet?
Just remember NOPE 😃
Hello everyone,I’ve had a beer tonight,I’ve stood outside the pub with numerous smoker friends, chatted, had a laugh, watched them smoking, and not once thought “god I’d love one of them”,I think I’ve broke the camels back,I truly am a none smoker 😀
I have hit 28 days off the darbs today! Feeling pretty compared to a couple of days ago when I was having a hard time breathing.
How's everyone doing?
Keep strong, team!
Just letting everyone know that you can make it. Just past 2 year mark and don't miss smoking one bit.
Happy Monday everyone
No more slips for me I made it I'm a nonsmoker. I never altered my dates after the slips and set backs I had because they are part of my journey in becoming a non smoker. I am in no way shape or form recommending slips because in the past they only led me back to being a smoker however for me this time they played a role in me becoming the non smoker I am today. If anyone o...
After reading today’s stories a song by Queen “we are the champions” spontaneously started playing in my head. It keeps playing and I can’t get rid of it. Congrats to all my fellow quitters because to quit this addiction you’ve got to be a champion.
Going cold turkey, last attempt lasted a year.
I’m here for a support network - ex smokers get it!
11 year smoker - started during first deployment with the Army.
Health scare - Couldn’t breath the morning after a 5km run, 2 days coughing up phlegm, coughed up a little blood also. Chest X-ray and stethoscope showed all clear, just waiting For blood test results. I’ll be asking for a Spri...
Hi everyone hope you are all staying strong and having a wonderful smoke free weekend.
It's great to not have that small lingure around me anymore or in my hair and clothes.
My partner is much happier and proud of me that I have come this far and continue to be a non smoker.
I did have my slip over 2 weeks ago now but as I said I will not go back to the start as it was so hard to stop the ad...
Today marks 6 months quit! I may not post a lot, but I come to this site weekly (sometimes daily) to keep me focused. I’m so thankful this site exists, and I have others I can relate to!! My anxiety is WAY better, and the freshness in the air almost brings tears to my eyes. NOPE.
Wounded tonight,After work we always pop for a quick pint on the way home to a pub close by,since we’ve been going in I was attracted to a very beautifull waitress there, well after a few weeks of having a bit of banter and stuff we exchanged numbers and tonight we’ve been messaging,it was all going well until I asked her if she smoked, she said”yes”and now I’m not interested but I don’t know what ...
I was out tonight and on the way home was so determined that When I got there was “just going to have one”. Then I got on here and just read stories. You are all so amazing the way you encourage everyone. It has helped me. Thank you all.
Morning everyone ,I had the worst night last night I hardly slept my mind was really active, but when I did sleep I remember dreaming I’d failed and lit a cigarette up in a beer garden with my friend,I woke up really fast but remembered the dream,I’m surprised I dreamed that as I don’t even feel like I would like one, feeling a bit flat today, but I’m sure I’ll snap out of it.Have a good day everyone
Think about your reasons for quitting as this leads to motivation then be determined. My doctor told me motivation is all that is needed to quit, i agree if the reason is big enough (throat cancer ect..) yes for sure that would motivate just about everyone. My reason was imagining i was on my death bed at a young age knowing it was my fault i have shortened my life and now its over. This was a st...
