Day two of Quitting for the 3rd time

Hello guys , This is my 3rd time of quitting , first was for 4 months and most recently for 5 days then a slip up … I hope this will be the final slip up I’ll have ….especially when I still deal with anxiety and stress as major triggers ….. 😪😪 but deep down I am really tired of smoking … I hope to stay quit even with all the withdrawal symptoms…

Good for you for not quitting. We can quit smoking, and a forum did the trick for me. Read, learn, plan, and above all keep positive!

Bring that desire to quit from underneath and to the forefront. You are in control and can choose what is in your best interest. The freedom we obtain from this addiction and psychological dependence, also gives us the condidence to continue on. You have come further than many, and can follow many succusses in like. Take pride and be happy with your decision. You deserve it!

It’s really hard you’re absolutely right bcoz of the chemical Dopamine..🥴😩The nicotine in tobacco/cigarettes is highly addictive. It makes your brain release a chemical called dopamine. Dopamine is a ‘feel good’ chemical that makes you feel happy, helps you to concentrate and give you more energy but the sad thing is this effect doesn’t last long.

As the nicotine levels in your body fades off, your brain craves for more dopamine 🥺

It’s crazy though but it’s all about determination if you really want to quit & it’s all in the mind...I have quitted yet my own is situation is even worse because I have a borderline personality disorder (BPD) and that is adding to it for me wanting it all the time !!!😭🥺
