Quitting smoking always gets the bad rap. Your mind is giving you what your expected. You think quitting is hard and so it co-operates. You have a great excuse to quit quitting.

When you stop and look at this journey as a fantastic opportunity to turn your life around, enjoy a longer life with better quality of life, spend your money on better food, entertainment and loved ones. If someone robbed you of that money you would be p=====d. Why do you let nicotine rob you. And not just of the money, but of time and health too? Get Angry....Get Even.....Show 'em whos boss!

So yes to your question. Many struggle . They regard smoking as their friend and their friend is begging them not to forsake them. Nicotine is a drug. Our bodies need time to adapt as do our brains. Read and Learn. Knowledge is power. You can quit smoking and the maladies don't last forever.

Let's try something else very difficult, firstly why not change your post name so that you are not re-enforcing your position that you are feeling. Why not try looking into the problems that Nicotine causes, including the addictive substance. Why not try out Meditation or writing out one thing that made you feel happy every night before you go to sleep. Your mind will awaken to a different feelings very soon.

You need to get to the position of feeling very happy with not smoking, and you need to let yourself be your best friend not the cigarette. Have a look at "How to Grow to be a Happy Non-smoker" by NASIA DAVOS on u-tube, you still need to identify which emotion you are trying to come to terms with.

A specialist is fine, but still visit your GP doctor for other reasons than your heart. Practice NOPE (not one puff ever) this works. Get back to us soon.
