Breathing fresh air
It’s the end of week 2. I struggled for the last 3 mornings mostly. Thank goodness for my patches help me get through. I have thought many times I would love to have just one but taken note from others not to get sucked back in. So here I am about to start week 3. Wish me luck
Thanks nuts. I will remember what you said and will stay positive. I really want this for myself mostly. I have figured from past attempts that you have to do it for your own self and not just for others. Will keep you updated💋

Nuts is right Catherine anne. You don't need luck to accomplish this mission you need postitive thinking and a change of mindset. Even willpower can't really cut it long term. Remember that is is cigarettes that cause these cravings and soon you will not have them and never have to feed those cravings again. Nicotine and all the deadly toxins ravish your body and immune system, remember that when you "think" you want one. Acknowledge the evil and unnaturalness of this addiction.
You have a love of life and a family who loves you. Nicotine doesn't care about you. Never did and never will. See it for what it really is and you will stop desiring it. You will not crave what you do not desire.
You are doing great Catherine. You have shown yourself what you are made of, and we are all very proud of you and wish you all the best in making the changes necessary to accept being a non-smoker. You can do this!
Thanks happiness. Yes I can do this positively. Today is a new day. ❤️💋❤️
I plan on it nuts and if i start to fall I’ll definitely call all you guys to help me keep going. Thanks heaps it truly helps ❤️💋❤️

Congratulations! You've definitely done the worst bits, keep strong and keep at it, you can do this! I'm also on day 14 (end of week 2). Feeling positive and feel that the worst has happened. It's getting easier, slowly!

As you slowly regain control of your life by perhaps changing your daily routine and thus avoiding triggers you should be having fewer. I should think the duration will be shorter and easily dismissed. It does become easier as you learn how to cope and even turn the urge into a reminder that you are winning. Someday you will feel normal and that smoking was a thing of the past. You are doing great!
This morning is not so great, had quite a few cravings at work but pushed them away thank goodness. Hopefully the afternoon will be better.
Well the afternoon is here and so am I. Arvo is going well so far. I am feeling tired though for the last week, not sure if it’s coz giving those disgusting cigarettes away or from waking up at 4:30 to go to work lol but I’ll just keep on going. I don’t drink to much coffee now but plenty of water which I didn’t drink before. Anyway thanks for listening to me whine it helps to just pop on here and chat 😂oh and it keeps my hands busy. ❤️💋❤️

I think this site was good therapy for keeping both my mind and hands busy. We boost our happy dopamine levels while learning and being happy. I do both so it works well for me.
So glad to hear the afternoon went more smoothly. Stay positive and hopefully that will avoid more rough patches.
