1 day

1 day smoke free. Very aware of keeping busy and aware of not eating more. I'm taking it an hour at a time. I quit for 10 years and took it up again. I'm doing it cold turkey. I don't want to get cranky. I know its hard for the first few months but I'm over smoking. I am just trying so hard to hang in there and its only been a day and a half. I feel something that was part of my life is gone,

I can relate to you saying " I feel something that was part of my life is gone"
I'm 11 months into my quitting all things containing nicotene. To be honest, I'm glad I quit! I don't want the extra burdens I have to carry because of my compulsive smoking (40 a day for more than 30 years)
I quit cold turkey and started going for lots of walks when I felt like I wanted to get a "fix" and came here to learn and blog. I found other sites useful as well. Like you, I'd given up in the past but this time is different. This time I've armed myself with much more knowledge/ammunition
After 11 months I feel my energy levels are up, I sleep better, I taste better and I am just discovering what its like to feel normal without cigarettes.
