Hi All this is Monni , i shared my experience last week on my starting the quit4good strips. well so far so good ,they do work but will power has a lot to do with it also . i stopped the patches on the Friday as i found being on the strips i didn't need the patches anymore, i was also glad to get rid of the itchy rash i was getting from being on the patches . the strips re great, i went out Saturday with my friends whom all smoke , i didn't feel like one and they all couldn't believe how it didn't bother me , i am now started to go to have a Sauna , as i have been told that if you attend a Sauna for 3 days in a row it removes toxic chemicals from you body, less likely to have the craving but only works if you are not smoking . all worth trying, it is now 9 days since i started the strips and few times i have forgotten to take them but they do work guys , give them a go just stick to the instructions and take them as guided . i have found because i was on the patches before hand i got use to knowing i'm not waking up to have a smoke, so i found taking the strip handy as i kept them near my bed, as soon as i opened my eyes i went for the strip . now i just jump out of bed without even thinking about a smoke. i know it is still early days but i'm sticking to it and if i think of having a smoke, i think to myself that , i have gone this far, tried so hard, spent money on, smoking aids, patches and strips, Saunas, clearing toxins out , so, if i had just 1 smoke all that would of been for nothing and back to square one !!

Dear Falls, I was reading your previous posts and in particular the psychological tie to smokes and you said you think it is to do with being or thinking you've failed. As you have, I too have had a lot of difficult times & stress so in answer to your question, yes I can relate. I know how you feel. The failure feeling & being let down. I don't really know the answer though except just keep trying, keep going & know that the cigarette actually doesn't help you through those times like we think it does, it actually makes it worse, that's how I'm getting past it, it's my enemy not my friend anymore. I am my own best friend & can help myself without adding death by smoking to my problems. Good luck to you both.
